Rochelle Doyle, Research and Development Manager at Rio Tinto to Judge Sustainability Award
CORE Innovation Hub is pleased to welcome Rochelle Doyle, Manager of Research and Development at Rio Tinto as Judge for the 2023 Hot 30 Awards. Rochelle will judge the Sustainable Innovation Award category, looking to unearth innovation or technology that is working to create a more sustainable future for the energy and mining sector.
Prior to joining Rio Tinto, Rachelle was Hydrogen Technology Lead at Fortescue Future Industries and is a passionate energy transition champion and clean energy leader. With over 20 years of experience working in Australian energy and minerals processing sectors in technical and leadership capacities, she brings a wealth of engineering, operations, project management, and commissioning experience the the Hot 30 Awards.
Rachelle has also held a range of roles at Woodside Energy, including Project Manager, New Energy Program Manager, and Technology Portfolio Manager. In these roles, she gained significant experience in the provision of technology and engineering solutions for complex projects and operating environments, as well as the management of high-performing teams.
Rachelle holds a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Curtin University and is a chartered engineer and Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers. She also chairs the Standards Australia ME-093 Hydrogen Technologies Committee, showcasing her leadership and expertise in the field.
Rachelle is a demonstrated energy transition champion with a passion for clean energy solutions. She has the ability to understand new technology and science areas and apply strategic, sustainability, and commercial lenses to enable the energy transition to net zero emissions. Her experience and expertise make her an invaluable asset to the Hot 30 AWards judging panel.
