Onetide’s Mobile MicrogridTM, developed in 2015, is a mobile and modular small-footprint hybrid renewable energy system, that can generate power from solar, wind, hydro or the ocean. It can also incorporate onboard water filtration and purification, or atmospheric water generation.
The output is pure sine wave electricity at both 240 and 415v and can be Eex rated.
The Microgrid is designed for air and rapid deployment to ultra-remote or infrastructure disrupted locations, such as for remote mining operations or disaster relief.
It can be sent quickly, across the world, to any scale with minimal logistics effort and negligible health, safety, environment and risk implications, its compact form factor also contributes to a small greenhouse gas footprint.
Its collector array is transported as a flat pack for assembly on the ground using local labour, an d it is 100 per cent plug and play and needs no specialised personal to install, operate or maintain with key components hot swappable.
Its design specifications mean it easily scales – from 2 to 20 kW - to larger applications such as remote communities, schools, health services, remote mining operations, defence, and more.
It includes battery, micro-diesel or hydrogen backup power.
