The Company has rapidly innovated and developed a full-service SMART solution to electromobility. Working collaboratively with customers for the life of the solution, the Company supplies and installs its ZA Modular Mobility Platform into customized base vehicles, converting carbon intensive internal combustion engines into long-life, sustainable battery energy solutions. Converted vehicles are emission free, extremely safe, ADR approved and underground ready; and further offer enhanced driver experience.
ZERO Automotive’s conversion technology is currently configured to suit a Series 79 Landcruiser and may be decoupled from the base vehicle and reused, extending the life and value of the integrated battery energy system offering total lifecycle cost advantage when compared to the purchase of diesel vehicles.
OZ Minerals has tested & accepted ZERO Automotive’s conversion technology with a first-generation prototype – the ZED70 Ti bELV – fully commissioned & operational at Carrapateena’s underground mine site. It is believed to be the only ADR certified vehicle in Australia that is operational underground.
